General Terms & Conditions

  1. It is the responsibility of you as the customer of Harris Clean & Maintain to provide a safe working environment for us to visit and work in.

  2. Harris Clean & Maintain will make reasonable attempts to provide holiday cover for our office cleaning customers. Holiday cover however is not guaranteed and it may be that you receive a reduced service whilst your usual cleaner takes annual leave.

  3. Harris Clean & Maintain reserve the right to suspend or terminate services when payment is overdue.

  4. If Harris Clean & Maintain arrive at your premises but are unable to access an office due to no fault on our part, your full clean price will still be charged.

  5. We require a minimum of 4 weeks notice to end or cancel our office cleaning services.

  6. We reserve the right to take photo’s of our work, and to use these for promotion and marketing. We will do our best to make sure that photo’s taken at a customer’s property does not show any personal or private details of the customer.

  7. We require 6 weeks notice should a customer company be changing name or plan to cease trading.

  8. Unless specifically stated, no guarantee is provided on works or services we provide. We cannot guarantee that gutter vac services (gutter clearance) clears all blockages, or for how long they will stay clear and free flowing.


Payment

  1. Payment of invoices, unless otherwise stated is 30 days. Payment must be received in full.

  2. We (Harris Clean & Maintain) understand and will exercise our statutory right to interest and compensation for debt recovery costs under the late payment legislation (including the late payment of commercial debt regulations 2013) if we are not paid according to agreed credit terms.

  3. We (Harris Clean & Maintain) reserve the right to suspend or terminate services after a late payment of one of our invoices, or to terminate services after repeated late payment.


Office Cleaning

  1. It is the customers responsibility to notify Harris Clean & Maintain of any allergies staff may have immediately after becoming aware of them, and any ways this may impact the service we provide, or the products we use. Harris Clean & Maintain accept no liability for reactions as a result of cleaning products we may use.

  2. Desks must be kept as free as possible from paperwork and other items to enable us to clean them. We reserve the right to leave a desk uncleaned if it is covered in paperwork.

  3. Harris Clean & Maintain accept no responsibility for damage caused as a result of spillages whilst emptying your office bins. It is strongly advised that you as the customer ensure liquids and other similar items are not disposed of in your bins.

  4. Washing up, unless otherwise stated within your quote is not included as part of our office cleaning packages.


Window Cleaning

  1. We (Harris Clean & Maintain) nor any of our subcontractors are responsible for any damage to windows caused by the normal window cleaning process. Any fragile windows, tints, cracks and the like should be pointed out to us prior to cleaning, and these will be cleaned at your risk.

  2. If you move house, please notify us by email at harriscleanandmaintain@outlook.com as soon as possible to cancel or rearrange the service to your new address.

  3. We reserve the right to charge up to 50% extra if you cancel or skip a previously scheduled window clean.
